Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has expressed profound shock and grief following the tragic death of Johana Ngeno and five others in a helicopter crash on Saturday in Nandi County.

“I have known Hon Ng’eno since we first joined Parliament together in 2013,” Murkomen wrote. “He represented his constituents with passion and courage and always spoke his mind without fear.”

“My thoughts and prayers are also with the families of the five people who perished with him in a chopper crash. May God rest their souls in eternal peace and comfort their loved ones,” he added.
