In 1952, Rev. John McBride arrived in Nairobi with a quiet conviction and a singular purpose: to plant a church that would stand as a testimony to God’s truth in a rapidly growing city. 


There were no grand structures, no large congregations, and certainly no global influence—only a vision rooted in faith.


The earliest meetings were held at Rahimtulla Hall near Jevanjee Street. These gatherings were modest, often overlooked by the city around them, but they were filled with prayer, hope, and commitment.
