Former Azimio chief agent in the 2022 General Election, Saitabao Ole Kanchory, has sparked fresh political debate after accusing President William Ruto of consolidating significant economic and institutional influence across Kenya since taking office.
In a statement shared online, Kanchory claimed:
“William Ruto went for broke in 2022 and very nearly went broke. Had it not been for some timely intervention from Minnesota, he would have grounded some of his choppers towards election day.”
