The woman, who shared her ordeal anonymously with Facebook relationship influencer Freshi Nakawere, described a horrifying chain of events that began with a message from her husband’s longtime best friend, Zweli.
The text read: “I can’t get over what you did to me yesterday.”
Initially dismissing it as harmless, curiosity led her to dig deeper—and what she found changed her life forever.
“I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me,” she confessed.
A deeper dive into their WhatsApp chat revealed countless intimate messages and photos between her husband and Zweli, including images of them kissing and engaging in acts typical of romantic partners.
Some photos, she notes, were mildly censored, but the emotional impact was undeniable.
Confronting her husband seemed like the only option, but it ended in tragedy. Instead of confessing or apologizing, he allegedly responded with violence.
The woman described being beaten severely, resulting in injuries that required hospitalization.
As if the assault was not enough, he sent a message requesting a divorce, seemingly dismissing 15 years of shared life, three children, and a home built together.
“I can’t believe this is happening,” she wrote to Freshi Nakawere. “He’s a pastor at church. How could he live a double life like this?”
