Renowned motivational speaker Sam Vidambu has taken to social media to express his frustration after a teacher reportedly walked out when he offered to mentor school staff.
Vidambu shared his post on Facebook, calling out the teacher, known online as Mwalimu Chemosey, accusing him of jealousy and bitterness.
"Who knows this devil? Is this even a teacher? A teacher with evil spirit? A teacher with the soul of Cain. A teacher full of bitterness with me," Vidambu wrote.
The motivational speaker, widely admired for his work with students, explained that his programs are designed to equip teachers with practical strategies to help learners retain content, not to instruct them on teaching.
"Teachers are professionals. I respect teachers so much. I never show them how to teach because they are trained," he added.
Vidambu dismissed the negativity, urging his followers to send greetings to the teacher through his Facebook page.
"If you don’t like me, why can’t you mind your business? Truly, progress invites hatred and success invites jealousy," he said.
Mwalimu Chemosey, however, defended his actions, claiming that Vidambu overstepped boundaries.
"This guy was invited to my school to mentor the learners. Later, he wanted to mentor us, teachers. I went home. Who is he to mentor me? Bullshit," Chemosey stated.
The incident has sparked debate among educators and social media users, with some supporting Vidambu for sharing his expertise, while others side with Chemosey, arguing that teachers cannot be lectured by outsiders.
