Kenyan social media personality Mpenzi Chokuu has announced a major milestone in her personal journey, revealing that she has undergone gender-affirming surgery and now identifies as a woman.
Chokuu, a Kenyan-born content creator who lives in Germany, shared the news with her followers on Facebook on Wednesday, September 2, using her trademark humour and outspoken personality to announce the significant development.

“I am currently in my healing era, so please don’t expect me to be outside shaking it anytime soon. The factory is CLOSED for maintenance,” she joked.

Chokuu then described the transformation as a fresh beginning, telling her followers: “New chapter. New body. Same crazy girl.”
