Former Vice President and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka returned to Kenya on Thursday evening, expressing gratitude for a warm homecoming after a productive visit to Washington D.C., United States.

Speaking shortly after his arrival, Kalonzo acknowledged the reception organized by Wiper Party officials and Dan Maanzo, as well as several MPs including Patrick Makau, Stephen Mule, Edith Nyenze, and others, who were present to welcome him.

“Grateful to be home! What an incredible homecoming this evening after my productive trip to Washington DC,” he said, noting that the support from both Wiper Party and Azimio leadership reinforced his commitment to national service.

Kalonzo emphasized that the visit, which included engagements with international partners and policymakers, was aimed at strengthening Kenya’s diplomatic and development ties abroad.

“Make no mistake, the work we're doing locally and internationally is bearing fruit,” he said, highlighting ongoing initiatives to promote economic growth, good governance, and regional cooperation.

The Wiper leader’s return is seen as a timely boost to the party’s activities ahead of upcoming political engagements, as he reiterated the importance of unity within the Azimio coalition.
