A woman has shared a heart-wrenching confession to popular Facebook influencer Being Wendy, revealing how a past relationship left her emotionally scarred and estranged from her family.

The lady recounted that before meeting the father of her daughter, she enjoyed a close, loving bond with her parents.

“Things weren’t perfect, but we were good. Then this man came into my life, and slowly everything fell apart,” she said.

She added that after he entered her life, her entire family turned against her, and she has not seen her parents in years.

She said that her former partner would manipulate her mother, calling her with fabricated stories that were instantly believed, despite the woman presenting evidence of lies, insulting messages, and fake legal threats.

In 2017, she said he left her with rent arrears exceeding 100,000 shillings, plunging her into depression.

“My parents watched me struggle, saw everything I went through, yet still defended him,” she noted.

The lady also revealed deep emotional wounds linked to her mother, who she claims has always resented her, and a father who, according to her, would betray family ties for minor gains.

“Sometimes I feel like I was an unwanted child,” she confessed, adding that her mother often speaks negatively about her to her siblings.

Even after nine years of separation, she says her former partner has rarely supported their child.

“The only time he stepped up was when I went public and exposed the situation. And every New Year, like clockwork, he resurfaces with insults, acting as if I abandoned him with a baby,” she said.

Looking back, she described the relationship as fraught with generational dysfunction, multiple failed relationships, and even what she calls ‘witchcraft.’ “I ignored the red flags. I paid the price,” she said.

She urged her followers to exercise extreme caution when choosing partners, especially when children are involved.

“Some connections don’t just end when the relationship ends. They follow you, test you, isolate you, and force you to become stronger than you ever planned to be,” she reflected.

Despite the trauma, the woman expressed resilience.

“I survived it. I’m still standing. But I will never ignore red flags again,” she concluded, sharing a message of strength and vigilance.
