Nyamira Senator Okong’o Omogeni has fired back at INJECT Party leader Morara Kebaso, dismissing his claims that former president Uhuru Kenyatta and President William Ruto are secretly working together.

In a pointed statement, Omogeni accused Kebaso of spreading political fantasy and misleading Kenyans.

He said politics should be about clear purpose, not theatrics.

“Believing Uhuru is in government without Jubilee is like denying the Trojan Horse was a strategy,” he said, warning that mixing politics with speculation confuses voters.

Omogeni did not spare Kebaso’s wider political conduct, questioning his claims on party registration, his 2027 presidential ambitions at age 29, and unclear fundraising practices.

“Lying to citizens about party registration, fantasising about a 2027 presidency at age 29, and opaque fundraising are pure hubris,” he said.

The senator’s remarks come after Kebaso argued that Ruto’s 2024 Cabinet reshuffle, which included former Uhuru allies, proves the two leaders are politically aligned.

Kebaso also suggested that claims Jubilee is not cooperating with the Kenya Kwanza government are misleading.

Omogeni countered that real political alliances are reflected through formal party structures and transparency, not media statements.

He challenged Kebaso to clarify who he actually works for, saying, “Without truth and accountability, you are not leadership—you are noise.”
