In a dramatic post on X, Thirdway Alliance leader Ekuru Aukot has raised sharp questions about the circumstances surrounding the death of former MP Cyrus Jirongo.

Aukot questioned how, despite 65 passengers being on the bus involved in the head-on collision, none have come forward with firsthand accounts.

“Kenyans are active on social media and they can record anything. But 65 people on a bus are now ghostly and none witnessed the accident that killed CJ, except from what is clearly a choreographed interview from a ‘Kithinji’,” Aukot wrote.

The politician called for transparency, insisting that the truth behind Jirongo’s death must be revealed.

His remarks highlight growing public concern over conflicting reports and a perceived lack of credible eyewitness testimony. Kenyans are now demanding a thorough investigation into the fatal crash.
