Kenyans are staring at a shocking reality: billions of shillings meant to transform counties into industrial powerhouses have instead left behind empty plots and half-built structures.

Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru did not hold back in his scathing attack on former CS Moses Kuria, calling the Sh5 billion industrial parks project a “promise betrayed.”

“This was supposed to be a game-changer for jobs and industry,” Njiru said, his words dripping with outrage.

“Instead, we are left with idle land and incomplete structures. Billions spent, and what do Kenyans get? Nothing!”

Njiru’s fiery statement, shared on X, ripped through the government’s industrial dream.

He asked bluntly: “Who approved this? Who monitored it? And why must taxpayers pay for this colossal failure?”

He didn’t spare the President’s administration either, accusing them of force-feeding Kenyans a “Singaporean dream” that has turned into a nightmare.

“They shouted, foamed, and sold this vision. But the truth? It ends in premium tears,” Njiru warned.

The lawyer’s message was clear: accountability is overdue.

“Transparency is no longer optional; it is an obligation. Until there’s a full audit and real progress, this project is a stark reminder of how ambition without integrity becomes waste,” he said.

"Idle land, empty promises, and lost opportunities have become the sad symbols of a plan gone horribly wrong."

As questions mount and public frustration grows, all eyes are on whether the government will finally explain where billions have vanished.

For now, the industrial parks dream lies in ruins — and Kenyans are left paying the price.
