Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka has sensationally claimed that the troubled Social Health Authority (SHA) is nothing but a continuation of shady Adani-linked deals that once threatened to take over key national assets.
In a fiery interview on Citizen TV Wednesday night, Kalonzo said Kenyans should not be fooled into thinking SHA is about health reforms.
According to him, it is “part of a scam” with foreign players already lined up to pocket billions.
“Remember this SHA thing was part of the Adani deals along with the JKIA, which we stopped in court until Ruto had to withdraw it in Parliament. It's part of that scam,” Kalonzo declared.
He went further, alleging that a powerful telco had already prepared the software to run SHA, with a Dubai-based partner waiting for a secret cut.
“Somebody in Dubai is supposed to get a cut, this is the whole thing. If not, let us see the results. What is the problem?” he pressed.
Kalonzo’s explosive remarks come as the Ruto government faces growing criticism over SHA’s rollout, following reports of inflated contracts and questionable procurement.
The scheme, meant to replace NHIF and deliver affordable healthcare, has instead been dogged by scandals before it even fully takes off.
The former Vice President has now put the spotlight back on President William Ruto’s administration, linking SHA to the same controversial Adani projects that nearly handed JKIA to foreign control.
