Queen Nadia, a Zimbabwean social media creator, has lost her popular Facebook page, Queen Nadia TV, after gaining millions of followers in just a few weeks.

The page, launched on November 28, 2025, quickly attracted over 3 million followers and her videos reportedly reached one billion views in only 28 days.

Queen Nadia became famous for her short, engaging videos that often used bold visuals and the “view once” format.

Her clips were shared widely, gaining attention across Africa and beyond.

Some videos reportedly earned her significant money in a short time, with certain posts generating thousands of dollars in revenue from Facebook’s monetisation programme.

Despite her success, her content faced criticism for being too provocative. Religious groups, cultural commentators, and other social media users raised concerns that some videos were inappropriate, especially for younger audiences.

Zimbabwe’s Broadcasting Authority also warned against content that could breach community standards and national guidelines.

On February 3, 2026, Queen Nadia’s Facebook page was removed following multiple user reports.

The deletion meant she lost access to her account and the earnings she had accumulated.

After the page was taken down, she posted videos on a new account, asking her followers for help to recover her page and her revenue.

Queen Nadia’s story highlights the challenges social media creators face in balancing online fame, revenue, and compliance with platform rules.

Her rapid rise and sudden fall have sparked debates about content moderation, cultural values, and the limits of social media freedom in Africa.
