An anonymous member of a Kenyan spiritual Facebook group has sparked debate after sharing how a brief suspension of their social media account led to the discovery of a time-sensitive job assessment email.

In a post that has since drawn dozens of reactions and comments, the member recounted applying for a job on January 9 after spotting an advert that matched their academic qualifications.

They said they submitted the application but did not actively follow up or check their email for updates.

The situation took an unexpected turn last Sunday evening.

While browsing Facebook before bed, the user said their account began malfunctioning before being temporarily suspended for one hour and thirty minutes.

They were prompted to submit a photo to verify ownership of the account.

Concerned that the account may have been hacked, the member decided to check their email for any security alerts from Facebook.

Instead, they found a message from the company they had applied to days earlier.

According to the post, the company had emailed on Friday to inform them that their application had progressed to the next stage.

The message included a link to a virtual assessment scheduled to open at 9:00 a.m. and close after 12 hours.

By the time the applicant saw the email on Sunday evening, the stated deadline had already passed.

However, upon clicking the link, the assessment portal was still accessible.

The applicant completed the one-hour timed test and later received confirmation that their submission had been received.

The company indicated that successful candidates would be contacted on Monday the 16th.

After finishing the test, the user returned to Facebook and found their account fully restored.

In the post, the anonymous member questioned whether the incident was coincidental or divinely orchestrated.

Though describing themselves as “not a very spiritual person,” they said the sequence of events left them wondering if God had intervened to ensure they did not miss the opportunity.

The story has ignited conversation within the group, with members offering mixed views—some calling it divine timing, others attributing it to coincidence.

The applicant now waits anxiously for feedback, hopeful that the unusual chain of events will lead to good news.
