President William Ruto’s constitutional advisor, Professor Makau Mutua, has launched a scathing attack on former Deputy President and Democracy for the Citizens (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua, dismissing his recent claims of championing the rights of Kenya’s Somali community.
In a post on X, Mutua described Gachagua as a “cynical, hypocritical, hateful” politician whose newfound advocacy for Somalis is insincere.
