Controversial media personality Andrew Kibe’s 2020 forecast about comedian Njugush (Timothy Kimani) and his wife Celestine “Wakavinye” Ndinda is gaining fresh attention after renewed separation rumours surrounding the beloved couple.
Kibe, known for blunt social commentary and polarising views on relationships, made a prediction nearly six years ago suggesting the pair’s bond would eventually falter under the weight of ambition and shifting content roles.
In the 2020 clip now circulating online, Kibe argued that Wakavinye had increasingly taken control of their content decisions, hinting that this shift could lead to a dissolution of their partnership.
He said, “Njugush amekaliwa na bibi, she is the one determining what content Njugush should create… Once she grows and reach a certain level, Njugush will be dropped… The two will eventually separate.” The prediction included a forecast that Wakavinye would start her own YouTube channel and ultimately part ways with Njugush.
Those comments have resurged on social media this week after celebrity blogger Edgar Obare posted claims that Njugush and Wakavinye had split, sparking widespread speculation and disbelief among fans who have followed the couple’s decade‑long journey.
Obare’s report did not cite official statements from either Njugush or Wakavinye, but the lack of immediate denial has amplified public interest and debate.
Kibe’s original prediction now shapes much of the online conversation, with supporters of the theory linking it to the couple’s evolving public roles.
Wakavinye has become a prominent content creator in her own right over the years, often featuring alongside Njugush on their popular Through Thick and Thin platform, while also growing her individual online presence.
