Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has expressed immense pride as his daughter, Meliza Khamwenyi Khalwale, posts a strong performance in the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations, earning a place in university.
"As my dota, Melissa Khamwenyi Khalwale, shines all the way to the University, I want to thank the St Brigid High School-Kiminini fraternity and my family for the support they bestowed to Liza in her studies. And above all I thank God for the gift of my little girl," he said.

Meliza achieved a mean grade of B- (minus), reflecting solid academic performance. She excelled in English, scoring an A- (minus), and Kiswahili, with a B+ (plus).
She also performed well in Biology and Christian Religious Education, each earning a B- (minus). Her other subjects included Mathematics (C-), Chemistry (C), Geography (C), and Business Studies (C).
Meliza’s success demonstrates a strong foundation in both languages and sciences, positioning her well for tertiary education.
The Khalwale family’s celebration comes as Kenya marks the release of KCSE results for 993,226 candidates nationwide.
Meliza is now set to pursue higher education, joining thousands of students advancing to universities and other institutions for further studies and professional training.
