National Unity Platform (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine, has accused state security operatives of targeting his party leaders and supporters, resulting in multiple deaths.
He added that the assault followed earlier abductions and attacks on other NUP deputy presidents, including the Western and Northern Region leaders.

“The criminal regime in its evening has gone insane. This insanity will have to be met with RESISTANCE,” Bobi Wine wrote, condemning what he described as coordinated violence against his party members.
The NUP leader did not provide details on the identities of those killed, the condition of the injured, or the exact circumstances of the abductions.
He also did not specify whether any law enforcement officers were involved or held accountable.
This latest allegation comes amid heightened political tensions as vote counting after the Thursday elections is still underway.
Human rights activists have repeatedly raised concerns about reports of excessive force, harassment, and intimidation against opposition figures and supporters.
