Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi has opened his heart in a gut-wrenching tribute to his late brother, Mukhwana, who was buried on Friday.

In a statement that has left many shaken, the MP shared intimate memories of a bond that went beyond blood.

“My happiest memory with Mukhwana was the day I asked him to be the Godfather of our son,” Wanyonyi revealed. “He was beaming with joy—I could feel it! He stepped up and fulfilled that role perfectly, right up to his final moments.”

The MP didn’t stop there. He also remembered the raw excitement his brother showed when Wanyonyi won his first political battle in 2013.

“James was the only one from the family who came to congratulate me,” he said, recalling a homecoming party that is now etched forever in his memory.

Eyewitnesses say the burial was a quiet but emotional affair, with close family members wiping tears as they said goodbye.

Wanyonyi’s words paint a picture of a brother who was more than family—he was a confidant, a supporter, and a source of unshakable love.

“I will miss him very much,” Wanyonyi confessed, his grief echoing across social media where Kenyans have flooded him with messages of support.

Many called the tribute a testament to the power of family, loyalty, and love that withstands even death.

Mukhwana’s life, though cut short, will be remembered for the joy he brought into his brother’s life, the unwavering support he offered, and the quiet yet profound influence he had on those around him.

For Wanyonyi, the loss is a personal earthquake—but his memories of laughter, celebration, and brotherly devotion remain alive.
