Comedian Jaymo Ule Msee has opened up about his recent conversion to Islam, clarifying reports that he had sought spiritual guidance from Pastor T Mwangi but was left unattended.

A few days ago, Jaymo took to social media to announce his embrace of Islam, describing it as a fresh start.

“Today I begin again. A healed heart, a renewed soul, and a life surrendered to Allah. From this moment forward, my steps are guided by faith, service, and purpose. Alhamdulillah,” he wrote.

The announcement sparked speculation about his earlier engagement with Pastor T Mwangi. Jaymo has now explained that while he reached out to the pastor earlier this year seeking help during a turbulent period, no meeting took place.

He emphasized that he holds no ill feelings toward the pastor.

“I reached out because he belongs to our generation and I thought he could understand my issues better. He promised to reach out, but I understand he serves many people,” Jaymo said.

He added that some of the challenges he faced were sensitive and would have shocked even prominent figures.

Jaymo stressed that his remarks are not meant to vilify Pastor T but to encourage the church to support people in crisis.

“T is a great man and can do better in his calling,” he noted.

The comedian credited his Muslim brothers for walking with him through healing and spiritual rejuvenation, saying their support helped him find peace and purpose.

“My new Islam faith has healed me. I am faithfully and happily serving Allah. Mashallah,” he said.

Jaymo’s story has sparked online conversation about faith, personal struggles, and how public figures navigate life changes, highlighting the importance of community and spiritual guidance in difficult times.
