“I am deeply honoured to be recognized among the 100 Most Influential Women in Africa at the 4th Edition of the African Women Awards held in Rwanda. This recognition is a celebration of African women who continue to shape our continent through leadership, innovation, and impact,” she stated.
The governor, who was also listed among the Top Female Icons under the She Achievers Network, said the award reinforces her commitment to promoting transformative governance and community empowerment.
She noted that empowering women and youth remains central to her leadership agenda in Machakos County.
“I dedicate this honour to the people of Machakos County and to all women across Africa who continue to dream boldly, break barriers, and lead with purpose,” she added.
Ndeti’s administration has been lauded for prioritizing programs that uplift women, including training initiatives, business grants, and youth employment projects.
Her inclusion among the continent’s most influential women places her among a growing list of Kenyan leaders recognized for their contribution to governance and development.
