Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has extended his best wishes to millions of learners sitting for this year’s national examinations across Kenya.
In a message shared on X, Mudavadi encouraged candidates taking the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), and Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) to approach the tests with focus and optimism.
“To every young Kenyan stepping into the exam room this season, your moment has arrived,” he said, describing the period as a major milestone in every learner’s academic journey.
He praised the students’ effort and resilience, noting that their determination represents the promise of Kenya’s future.
Mudavadi’s message carried a tone of motivation and reassurance.
He wished candidates clarity of mind and confidence throughout the examination period, reminding them that success in education contributes to national progress.
“Your success is Kenya’s pride and a powerful promise of the future we are building together,” he wrote.
The national examinations began earlier this week, with education officials expressing confidence in the preparedness of schools and exam centers. Security has been tightened across the country to ensure integrity and fairness in the process.
This year’s exams mark another phase in the government’s education reforms, which introduced assessments under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
Grade 9 learners will sit for the KJSEA for the first time since the new system was rolled out, joining KCSE and KPSEA candidates in marking a significant chapter in Kenya’s education calendar.
Mudavadi’s message adds to a chorus of goodwill from government leaders who have encouraged students to remain calm and give their best.
