Jubilee Party deputy organizing secretary and political blogger Pauline Njoroge has returned to the public eye after several days of absence, revealing that she had been unwell and admitted to hospital.

In a post on X, Njoroge expressed gratitude to friends, followers, and well-wishers who reached out during her absence.

“Over the past few days, I have received several calls and messages inquiring about my whereabouts. Thank you for your concern. I have been a bit unwell and in hospital, but now on the path to recovery,” she wrote.

While addressing her health, Njoroge also used the opportunity to reaffirm Jubilee Party’s political stance.

She reiterated that the party would not field a candidate in the Mbeere North by-election, instead supporting Democratic Party’s Newton Karish—a decision guided by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to Njoroge, this move reflects Kenyatta’s long-term vision for unity within the opposition, prioritizing strategic collaboration over short-term political gains.

She highlighted that party leaders, including Dr. Fred Matiang’i, are aligned with this approach to present a cohesive opposition ahead of the 2027 elections.

Njoroge also condemned individuals misrepresenting Jubilee Party’s position, describing them as “not even party officials” and accused them of spreading misinformation and attempting to create division within the opposition.

Despite the distractions, she emphasized that Jubilee remains united and focused under Kenyatta’s leadership.

“The rest of us remain steadfast, united in mind and spirit under the leadership of H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta, committed to advancing a common opposition agenda that serves Kenya’s best interests,” Njoroge stated.
