Journalist Barack Oduor has remained one of the most critical voices in the Sharon Otieno murder case, not just as a reporter, but as the only known survivor of the abduction that led to her death.
On September 3, 2018, Oduor was pursuing a story after being contacted by Sharon Otieno, a Rongo University student who claimed she was in a relationship with then Migori Governor Okoth Obado.
