Kenyan social media influencer Wanja Nyarari has publicly praised President William Samoei Ruto for his unwavering support and protection, revealing the extent of political and social pressures she has faced from within her own circles.
In a statement shared on her social media platforms, Nyarari reflected on the nature of friendship, loyalty, and the hidden challenges that often accompany life in the public eye.
She urged her followers to evaluate their relationships, warning that those who fail to defend or support others during difficult moments should be removed from their lives.
“Real friends do not only appear in celebrations; they stand with you in the storm,” Nyarari wrote. “If there is someone I know who understands loyalty and protection as a friend, it is President William Samoei Ruto.”
She added that multiple attempts by adversaries to undermine her had been thwarted thanks to the president’s intervention.

“Sometimes I remain silent and simply watch as enemies, even those within the same camp, plot against me, yet their plans always fail,” she stated. Nyarari also highlighted the role of online narratives, saying that some individuals go as far as sending screenshots of bloggers’ posts to manipulate opinions against her.
She warned that such actions not only harm individuals but can impede progress, stressing the importance of supporting those driving positive change.
“Never sabotage someone who is delivering positive change. And if the message does not favor you, remember you cannot shoot the messenger,” she said.
Nyarari’s statement also touched on her personal faith, which she credits with shielding her from harm and preserving her reputation.
“Today I celebrate loyalty. I am just happy to know God protects me and defends my name even when I am not aware I am a topic,” she added.
