Shock and disbelief filled the face of Dennis Muriithi when he returned home from work only to find his house completely empty. The television was gone.
The fridge was missing. The sofa set, utensils, even the curtains — everything had disappeared.
“I thought I had entered the wrong house,” Dennis said, his voice shaking. “My heart started beating very fast. I couldn’t understand what was happening.”
Dennis, a young businessman, lives in a rented house on the outskirts of town. According to him, nothing looked broken. The door was not damaged.
The windows were intact. It was as if someone with a key had calmly moved everything out.
Confused and scared, Dennis immediately called his wife to ask what had happened.
