Former Vice President and Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Sunday worshipped with Kenyans at the Kwanza Adventist Fellowship Community Sabbath in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA.

Speaking on X, Kalonzo described the congregation as “vibrant and welcoming,” with a notable presence of Kenyans from the Abagusii community.

During the service, Kalonzo emphasized the deep sense of fellowship and shared purpose among members, noting that the church provides a space where faith is lived authentically.

He highlighted the congregation’s commitment not only to worship but also to mutual support, describing it as a spiritual family that transcends borders.

The Wiper leader praised the community’s warmth, discipline, and reverence, noting that these qualities reflect strong moral values and clarity.

Kalonzo described the Kwanza Adventist Fellowship as a hub for spiritual renewal and unity, nurturing hope, responsibility, and service to humanity.

He observed that such gatherings demonstrate how faith can anchor communities during uncertain times and stressed the importance of the Kenyan diaspora in shaping values-driven leadership back home.

“The diaspora is not just watching from afar; they are active partners in envisioning and building the Kenya we want,” he said.

The former vice president expressed gratitude to the church leadership and members for their hospitality, with special acknowledgment to Prof. and Dr. Choti and family for their warm welcome.

He was accompanied by Deputy Minority Leader of the National Assembly and Kathiani MP Robert Mbui, as well as Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo.

Kalonzo Confirms 2027 Presidential Bid in Conversation with Diaspora Kenyans

Later in Silver Spring, Kalonzo spent time in an open and candid conversation with Kenyans living and working in the area.

He described it as a “real exchange” about Kenya’s direction and the responsibilities of leadership. During the meeting, he confirmed that he will be on the ballot in 2027.

“I made it clear that I will be on the ballot in 2027. That decision is anchored in service, experience, and a lifelong commitment to the people of Kenya. My public record speaks for itself,” Kalonzo said.

He added that leadership should be measured not only by policies but by conscience and how a government treats its people, especially the youth.

Kalonzo linked faith and national service, urging Kenyans abroad to continue engaging in conversations that reinforce dignity, opportunity, and accountable governance.

“Together, inspired by faith and united by purpose, we continue to walk the journey of renewal. Together we shall Komboa Kenya,” he affirmed.
