For nearly two years, Mary Wanjiru lived in a cycle of hope and disappointment. The 32-year-old business administration graduate in Nairobi had sent dozens of job applications, attended interviews, and revised her CV repeatedly.

Still, rejection messages arrived with predictable regularity. Savings were gone, rent arrears were mounting, and relatives had begun asking uncomfortable questions about her future.

Her turning point came during a quiet evening visit to a friend in Kayole. As Mary shared her frustrations, the friend mentioned a traditional spiritual healer known as Dr Bokko, reputed for assisting clients remotely. Mary hesitated.

She had never sought spiritual intervention before, and the idea of consulting a healer without meeting him felt unusual. But the weight of prolonged unemployment pushed her to take the chance.

She received a phone number and later sent a WhatsApp message explaining her situation. The response arrived that evening. The healer’s instructions were straightforward and required no travel.

The quiet moments in the early morning gave her time to reflect and regain composure.

Two weeks later, her phone rang. A company she had interviewed with months earlier invited her for a second interview. Within days, another organization contacted her with a fresh opportunity.

Mary walked into both sessions calmer and more focused than she had been in previous interviews.

“I felt different,” she recalls. “I was no longer overwhelmed.”

Within a month of reaching out for help, Mary received two job offers.

She stared at the emails in disbelief before tears of relief followed. To her, the shift felt too sudden to ignore.

Whether the change came from spiritual intervention, restored inner calm, or a combination of both, Mary believes the remote guidance played a crucial role in helping her regain direction.

Today, she works at a logistics firm in Nairobi and is steadily rebuilding her financial stability.

She occasionally lights a candle at dawn, not out of desperation, but as a reminder of the difficult period she overcame.

“I reached out when I had run out of options,” she says. “After that call, things began to move.”

For Mary, the experience was about more than finding employment. It marked the return of hope — and a reminder that solutions sometimes arrive in unexpected ways. CONTINUE READING
