A Kenyan woman, Kiumbe Kipya, has taken social media by storm after sharing a jaw-dropping story of dating a pastor for eight months without any physical intimacy.
In a Facebook post that has gone viral, Kiumbe described the pastor as the “only true man of God” she has ever dated and praised his unwavering faith.
“For eight months, I slept at his house every weekend, and he never touched the forbidden fruit,” Kiumbe wrote.
She added that his every sentence was punctuated with “Hallelujah!” and that even when yawning or sighing, he would quietly murmur, “Thank you, Jesus.”
According to Kiumbe, their weekends together were marked by strict religious discipline.
The pastor would lead bedtime prayers, wish her good night, then climb into bed facing the wall with his arms pressed between his thighs.
She jokingly noted that he was the only man she had ever met who slept against the wall.
Mornings were just as disciplined. The pastor would climb off the bed carefully to avoid touching her, as they had committed to full abstinence until marriage. Even hugs were prohibited.
Kiumbe also recalled moments when he would forget himself during story time and begin speaking in tongues, underscoring his devout nature.
“He warned me that if I ever cheated, the gods would make him know,” Kiumbe added. She confessed that if it weren’t for the devil, she might have ended up as the pastor’s wife.
Despite the strict weekend arrangement, Kiumbe admitted she had another relationship during the weekdays with a man named Rono.
However, she refused to share details, joking that people were already “counting too much” regarding her past relationships.
Her post has ignited heated discussions online, with many praising the pastor’s discipline while others debated Kiumbe’s honesty and her approach to dating.
