American rapper Nicki Minaj has ignited widespread online debate after posting a series of controversial statements on social media this week.

The posts, shared on X, make a range of unverified claims about political figures, the music industry, and personal experiences — drawing sharp reactions from fans, critics, and media commentators.

Minaj’s comments began circulating widely days after renewed public interest in the Jeffrey Epstein files — a large cache of U.S. Department of Justice documents released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

The files consist of millions of pages of court records, investigative materials, emails, photos, videos, grand jury transcripts, and interview transcripts generated during federal investigations into Epstein and his associates, including his convicted co‑conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell.

The released material reveals ties between Epstein and a range of prominent individuals, financial records, and records of Epstein’s sex‑trafficking network, though much of the content has been redacted to protect victim identities and some portions remain unpublished.

In one of her earliest messages, Minaj wrote:

“Are y’all understanding that these people have been sacrificing children as a way of gaining & maintaining power? If you ever vote Demoncrat again, you’re just as soulless as they are & will perish. Maybe it’s time for me to do some story times — since I was trying to not say what I know — yet they continue to attempt bullying.”

Later she added:

“Also, I won’t be releasing an album until my contract is renegotiated & until I tell you about all the sabotage this RICO is finding out about Billboard.”

The rapper followed up with further posts that expanded on her allegations. In another message she claimed:

“Your favorite artist has been practicing rituals in a satanic cult where they take babies from other countries & mutilate & kill them as a form of a blood sacrifice to their God. You see, when your master is satan, you must constantly shed blood. However, the JIG IS UP.”

Addressing her own creative projects, Minaj wrote:

“They sabotaged my documentary b/c i spoke about abuse that i suffered. They’ve been trying to stall all my projects in hopes I’d lose a bunch of money & beg them for help. Their leaders still think it’s a joke. The destruction that’s about to come down on them isn’t funny. I told y’all to leave me alone. Now you’ll understand why you should’ve just sat there & taken your meds.”

Her most recent post invoked religious language and spoke about a ritual she believes her critics will perform:

“As they do their ritual tonight, God almighty will reveal himself to them. The ritual will backfire on them. God will not be mocked. Blessed is the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. Every tongue that rises up against me in judgement shall be condemned & put to shame.”

None of the claims Minaj made in these posts have been independently verified. Major news outlets covering the controversy note there is no public evidence supporting the specific allegations about child sacrifice, satanic rituals, or industry-wide conspiracies.

Reactions online have been mixed. Some supporters have rallied behind Minaj’s right to speak freely, while others have expressed concern about the potential spread of misinformation, especially around sensitive topics involving children and criminality.
