My name is Agnes, and I run a small tailoring shop near Pioneer in Eldoret. The woman at the center of this drama is someone I knew closely.

She led the women’s fellowship and was trusted with handling part of the church development funds meant for expanding the sanctuary. 


No one ever suspected her. Carol owned a fast-growing boutique in Eldoret town. Bright mannequins stood outside.


New stock arrived every week. People admired her “blessings.” She often testified in church about how God was expanding her business.
