Former NTV presenter Stella Katiwa, popularly known as Miss Katiwa, has revealed that she was recently sexually harassed while running errands in Nairobi.
In an Instagram video shared on Wednesday, January 7, the media personality recounted the shocking incident that left her feeling disrespected and disappointed.
According to Miss Katiwa, she had taken an Uber to the Kenya Cinema area to get her hair and nails done.

The area, known for heavy matatu activity, required her to walk past touts persuading passengers to board their vehicles.
It was during this short walk that one tout allegedly touched her without consent, a move that angered the former presenter.
When she attempted to confront him, she claims, she was met with insults instead of an apology.
“I did not give him permission to touch me. This is disrespectful,” Miss Katiwa said, urging the public to respect women.

She used the post to call out the persistent problem of touts harassing women in public spaces, writing: “Let this character end please! Respect WOMEN!!”
Fans and followers have since shown support, applauding her bravery in speaking out against harassment—a reminder that such behavior cannot be normalized, even in busy urban centers.
Miss Katiwa’s post comes amid ongoing conversations in Kenya about public safety for women and the need to hold perpetrators accountable.
