Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has extended Christmas greetings to all Kenyans, emphasizing unity, compassion, and road safety during the festive season.

In a message shared on Facebook on 25th December 2025, Kenyatta wished citizens peace, joy, and God’s blessings. He called on Kenyans to reflect on shared values that strengthen the nation.

“May this festive period remind us of the values that unite us, love, unity, compassion, and hope for a brighter future,” he said.

Kenyatta also urged travelers to prioritize safety, reminding them to follow traffic rules and remain patient on busy roads.

“No journey is worth a life. Together, let us commit to arriving safely,” he added.

The festive season in Kenya is often marked by heavy travel, with road accidents rising in past years.

Authorities have ramped up campaigns to ensure safety, aligning with Kenyatta’s call for caution.

Looking ahead, the former president wished Kenyans a prosperous New Year 2026, urging citizens to uphold peace and mutual respect for the nation’s development.

“Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year to you all,” he concluded.

Kenyatta’s message combines festive greetings with a reminder of collective responsibility, highlighting the importance of safety, family, and national unity as the country enters the new year.
