I believed that the people I trusted would stay by my side no matter the circumstances.
I believed in their smiles, their praises, and the so-called “family bonds.” But I was wrong. Everything I thought about people changed the moment my money disappeared.
When I was successful, life seemed easy. I had a business that was growing, a house I was proud of, and friends who called me whenever they needed advice or help.
They came to my house, ate my food, praised my work, and called me generous.
