Jubilee Deputy Organizing Secretary Pauline Njoroge on Tuesday shared a striking photo of Truphena Muthoni with President William Ruto, describing it as her “photo of the week” and celebrating the young activist’s dedication.

“When one is diligent in their calling, God not only removes every impediment and provides for the vision, but He also sets them before kings,” Njoroge wrote, adding that Truphena is a “national treasure.”

The post drew widespread attention, reflecting public admiration for Truphena’s environmental advocacy.

Truphena, 22, recently completed a 72‑hour tree‑hugging challenge in Nyeri County to highlight climate change and conservation issues.

Her efforts earned her a Head of State Commendation (HSC) from President Ruto during their Monday meeting at State House, Nairobi.

She was also appointed an ambassador for the government’s 15 Billion Tree Planting Campaign, with additional support for conservation initiatives, including a fully sponsored trip to Brazil.
