Veteran gospel musician and politician Reuben Kigame has issued a stark warning to Kenyans, identifying what he says are the key threats to the country’s stability and upcoming elections.

Speaking on Wednesday, Kigame highlighted four critical dangers: greed, political violence, negative ethnicity, and foreign interference.

According to Kigame, these factors not only erode national cohesion but also risk undermining democratic processes.

He urged every citizen who values Kenya’s future to actively oppose them.

“Four things are destroying Kenya and must be stopped by every caring citizen,” he said, emphasizing collective responsibility in safeguarding the nation.

Kigame also raised concerns about the integrity of the next general election, citing illicit money, hired goons, a state-controlled Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), and foreign powers with vested interests.

He warned that these elements could derail the democratic process if left unchecked.

Kigame stressed that safeguarding Kenya’s future requires active participation by all citizens, rejecting divisive practices, and ensuring that elections remain free and fair.
