ODM youth leader and political activist Kasmuel McOure has forecasted a second term for President William Ruto in the 2027 elections, urging Kenyans to shift focus from international comparisons to domestic youth-centered policies.

Speaking on Citizen TV on Friday, McOure criticized debates that emphasize foreign models like Singapore, arguing they distract from Kenya’s pressing need for progressive youth initiatives.

“We are chasing after narratives talking about Singapore instead of discussing youth progressive policies. President Ruto will be re-elected in 2027, and the young people have a stake in their nation moving forward,” he said.

McOure insisted that Ruto’s potential victory would reflect genuine public support rather than electoral manipulation.

“If the current trend holds, Ruto will become President again and not by rigging,” he stated, emphasizing the role of youth engagement in shaping the country’s political and economic future.

The remarks come amid ongoing national discussions on youth representation and policy influence, with McOure positioning young Kenyans as key stakeholders in shaping governance ahead of the 2027 polls.
