My name is Samuel Kariuki, and for most of my life, I believed that loyalty and friendship were unshakable foundations. I lived in Nakuru town, where I ran a logistics business transporting goods across the Rift Valley. Over the years, I built a network of close friends and partners whom I trusted completely. 

They shared meals with me, celebrated my successes, and even seemed to offer guidance when challenges arose. I never imagined that greed could quietly creep into hearts I had believed were loyal.

At first, everything seemed normal. These friends helped me negotiate deals, introduced me to suppliers, and even advised me on business strategies. 

I believed their words and relied on their actions, thinking that collaboration would only strengthen us. I shared my weaknesses openly—financial concerns, staff challenges, and future expansion plans.
