Dr Owiti Owayo, politician and former Kibra parliamentary aspirant, sent a public message wishing Embakasi East MP Paul “Babu” Owino a quick recovery on Wednesday.
The message, shared on social media, urged the vocal lawmaker to exercise caution in his personal and political engagements once back on his feet.
In the statement, Dr Owiti Owayo wrote: “Quick Recovery, my friend, Hon Paul Babu Ongili. Remember, Ruto is never asleep! Ako na mpango, ako na plan. Once you get back to your feet, avoid walking around with those fellows in Kenya moja.Again, tell Sifuna to resign from his Sec Gen position coz the ODM party currently belongs to William Ruto. He can't work for Dr Ruto and walk with you at the same time.”
The note also contained political advice, warning Babu Owino against associating with certain individuals linked to former political circles and urging him to influence ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna to resign.
Dr Owiti’s reference to President William Ruto in the message reflects ongoing political discussions and allegiances within Kenya’s evolving political landscape.
Dr Owiti’s message comes after Babu Owino issued a clarification that he is recovering well.
"Fellow Kenyans, I sincerely appreciate your concern and care. I am recovering well," the MP clarified.
