Head of Public Service Felix Koskei has challenged Kenyans to take a bold stand against corruption, warning that it must become socially unacceptable to even think about graft.

Speaking in Nairobi, Koskei said citizens have a key role in the fight against corruption.

“Let us make it so shameful and unfashionable for anyone not only to think about corruption but also to proceed and engage in it,” he said.

He outlined a simple guide for ordinary Kenyans: Interrupt corruption by questioning it, disrupt it by reporting through legal channels, and stop it by refusing to be compromised.

Koskei stressed that every citizen has a part to play in holding officials accountable.

The call comes amid Kenya’s ongoing battle against graft, with past reports showing that corruption remains a major challenge in public service.

Legal channels like the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) are key tools for citizens to report wrongdoing safely.

Koskei concluded with a warning and a challenge: corruption must be confronted openly, and citizens must act together to protect integrity in public life.

He called on every Kenyan to stand firm, report wrongdoing, and make corruption a thing of the past.
