Former President Uhuru Kenyatta joined KANU Chairman Gideon Moi on Friday to lay a wreath at the grave of late President Daniel arap Moi in Kabarak, Nakuru County.

The tribute followed Kenyatta’s attendance at the 21st graduation ceremony of Kabarak University, founded by the late president.

Speaking at the event, Gideon Moi described the ceremony as a moment to honour the legacy of his father.

“We continue to honour and cherish the memories of the moments we shared with the late retired President, H.E. Mzee Daniel arap Moi, a pillar of strength to our family and a towering statesman,” Gideon Moi said.

He added that laying the wreath alongside the 4th President, Uhuru Kenyatta, was a solemn gesture to remember and celebrate the life of the former leader whose influence shaped Kenya’s political landscape for decades.
