A Nairobi woman has left many Kenyans talking online after narrating how what was meant to be a romantic evening turned into a nightmare involving a shocking hotel bill of KSh 77,300.
The woman, identified as Stella (not her real name), says she was invited on a date by a man she trusted, only for the evening to end in embarrassment, police involvement, and emotional distress after the man disappeared without settling the bill.
According to Stella, she arrived at a high-end hotel in Nairobi expecting a normal dinner date.
