When 34 year old Miriam Achieng from Nakuru whispers about the night she almost gave up on her marriage, her eyes still fill with tears.
For months, she says, her husband had grown distant. Conversations had turned into arguments. Late nights at work became normal. Silence filled their home.
“I felt like I was losing him slowly,” Miriam recalls. “We were no longer laughing. We were just surviving in the same house.”
The breaking point came when her husband packed a small bag and told her he needed space.
