Politics in Migori has always been ruthless, but I thought I had mastered it. As a young politician, I was hungry for influence, willing to do whatever it took to win. 


During the recent campaign season, I discovered that a rival candidate had plastered posters around the town, threatening to sway voters.


I considered it an insult and decided to act decisively. In the dead of night, I gathered my supporters and burned every poster I could find.
