How I Turned the Tables on Serial Thieves and Rebuilt My Shop

I never thought I would reach a point where running my own business would feel like a curse. My name is Kariuki, and I owned one of the largest electronics shops at Masai Lodge in Ongata Rongai.

For years, I prided myself on offering the community quality gadgets—from smartphones and laptops to televisions and sound systems.

But from September 2025, my pride began to feel like a liability. Month after month, thieves found their way into my shop. Nothing seemed safe; even the most basic items vanished as if the shop had a hole in its walls.

By February 2026, my losses had escalated to a staggering 2.3 million shillings. Each incident left me more hollow than the last.

I reported every theft to the police, but their so-called investigations were worse than useless. They asked for bribes—150,000 shillings at times—and yet, even after paying, I only received stories.

“We are tracking them,” they said. “We have leads,” they assured. Every call ended in promises that never materialized.

I sank into a depression, staring at empty shelves and imagining the thieves laughing somewhere while my investments disappeared. Sleep became scarce, and the thought of walking into my shop each morning filled me with dread.

One sleepless night, I was scrolling aimlessly online, reading stories and testimonials about traditional healers and their work.

That’s when I came across Dr Bokko. People described his methods as unusual but effective, especially in cases where ordinary law enforcement had failed.

Skeptical but desperate, I sent him a WhatsApp message late into the night. I explained everything—the repeated thefts, my losses, my depression, even the police’s corruption. To my surprise, he responded promptly, assuring me that he could help.

We made arrangements and Dr Bokko, a calm, unassuming man, explained that sometimes the unseen energies around a place could trap or confuse wrongdoers.

He asked me to provide some items from my shop for a ritual and guided me through preparations that seemed part spiritual, part symbolic.

I had no illusions—they were my last resort. I followed every instruction faithfully, placing objects strategically and performing the small ceremonies as he directed.

A few nights later, something remarkable happened. The thieves attempted their usual raid, creeping into my shop as if nothing had changed. Yet, that night, they found themselves trapped in a strange disorientation.

Morning came, and there they were—wandering aimlessly inside and outside the shop, blinking in the sunlight as though waking from a dream.

They had no idea that the day had already broken and that they were completely exposed. I called the police immediately, and this time, the officers were able to arrest the gang without excuses.

The investigation led to Ole Kasasi, where the thieves had hidden their stolen goods. My missing electronics, once thought gone forever, were recovered. Relief and joy flooded me in a way I had not felt in months.

I felt a strange gratitude toward Dr Bokko—not just for the recovery of my property but for restoring my faith that even the most hopeless situations can turn around.

Looking back, I realized how deeply despair had taken root. I had felt powerless, watching my life savings disappear while the authorities seemed more interested in lining their pockets than protecting the community.

Yet, in the end, patience, belief, and seeking help beyond the conventional channels turned everything around.

My shop now stands safer, my losses minimized, and I no longer dread the nights. I learned that sometimes, the solution lies not only in money or force but in persistence, faith, and the courage to seek help—even from unexpected places.
