Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has conveyed his condolences following the death of Mama Loyse Vihenda Malongo, a respected community figure from Nandi County.
Mama Loyse, 86, was the family matriarch of Senior Pastor Walter Bulimu of the Friends Church Quakers.
She hailed from Kechire Village in Kiptuiya Ward, Nandi County, where she was widely known for her dedication to service and community upliftment.
Mudavadi noted that Mama Loyse lived a life defined by purpose and impact.
He highlighted her roles as a devoted farmer, counsellor, and servant of the people, saying she consistently worked to improve the livelihoods and wellbeing of those around her.
According to the Prime Cabinet Secretary, Mama Loyse’s legacy goes beyond her family and church.

He said her lifelong efforts in nurturing livelihoods and offering guidance to others had a lasting influence on her community, particularly in rural Nandi, where faith-based leadership often plays a key social role.
Mudavadi extended his sympathies to the Malongo family, the Friends Church Quakers, and residents of Nandi County.
Her death has drawn tributes from leaders and community members who remember her as a woman of deep faith, humility, and unwavering commitment to others.
