I used to sit quietly at weddings, clapping and smiling while my heart felt heavy inside.
One by one, my friends found love, built homes, and announced pregnancies, while I returned to my small rented room alone.
At family gatherings, questions came like sharp arrows: “When is your turn?” or “Don’t you want to settle?” I wanted all those things, but life seemed stuck on pause for me.
No matter how hard I worked or prayed, nothing moved. I felt invisible, forgotten, and left behind by time itself.
