Political activist Morara Kebaso has called on Kenyan believers to publicly share testimonies of how God has impacted their lives, arguing that faith should not be associated only with the poor or suffering.

In a detailed post on X, Kebaso urged Christians to showcase their successes as evidence of God’s blessings, saying that wealth, health, and favour are not incompatible with genuine worship.

“Those who do not believe in God show off their wealth, success or progress in public… It’s therefore our responsibility as the people who worship God in truth to also show off what He has done for us,” he said.

Kebaso emphasised that winning more souls to Christ is not the sole responsibility of pastors or priests but a collective duty of all believers.

He encouraged those who have prospered to testify publicly, arguing that visible acts of faith could inspire others to seek God.

“We should not lie to ourselves that believers should be poor at heart and at bank because their wealth is heaven. No. God is the creator of all good things including gold,” he said.

Sharing from his personal experience, Kebaso attributed his wealth, family health, and public influence to divine intervention. He recounted surviving road accidents and attacks by assailants, asserting that God’s protection has been central to his life.

“If it weren’t for God I would not be rich at a young age. He has given me healthy children who pray before they sleep. I am grateful for good health, for favour among Kenyans, and for life itself,” he added.

Kebaso also addressed concerns about public displays of faith, noting that worship should not be constrained by fear of judgement or accusations of pretentiousness.

He concluded by urging believers to act boldly in honouring God for the blessings they have received, reinforcing that faith and prosperity can coexist.

Through his message, Kebaso has reignited conversations on the intersection of faith, wealth, and public testimony, challenging believers to demonstrate how God’s hand has shaped their personal and professional lives
