I had always loved animals. Cats, in particular, had a special place in my heart. I would feed the stray kittens in my neighborhood, and even on some days, I found myself rescuing injured birds or puppies.
But over the past few months, something strange began happening in my house. Whenever a black or white cat came near, my head would start to throb violently.
At first, I thought it was a coincidence. Maybe I had been stressed, or perhaps my migraines were acting up again. But the pattern became impossible to ignore.
