Businesswoman and musician Akothee has shared a shocking tale of financial drama following her split with former husband Omosh, just weeks after their wedding.
In a post that has left fans laughing and sympathizing, Akothee revealed she had to pay a whopping Sh450,000 electricity bill left by Omosh, who had tried his hand at pig farming.
“Eeish… thank God Kenya Power understood my innocence. Ningewekwa ndani kwa kuiba stima,” she wrote, hinting at how serious the situation could have gotten.
The saga didn’t end there. One of Akothee’s generators in Mombasa was written off, and she revealed that Swiss technicians would have to repair it.
She also explained that she only discovered the full debt after selling Omosh’s pigs and sending him his share of the proceeds.
“Otherwise I would have used the Sh350,000 I sent him to clear part of that bill,” she added, making light of the situation despite the huge expense.
Akothee used the story as a lesson for women, urging them to share their experiences.
